No it is not necessary to have a mba frm top inst because if the candidate have work experince with his degere itz not necessary...having mba frm top inst is nothin but blufff i belive
it depends how to apply our talent in different fields and to do mba from top institute is not necessary becoz we can do mba from any other institute and we can gathered kowledge from other institute also.
IN MY VIEW GETTING AN MBA DEGREE FRM TOP INSTITUTE DOES MATTER,AS THE DEBATE IS ABOUT BEING SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE,EVEN A DHOBI CAN BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE(JUST FR EXAMPLE).MBA FRM TOP INSTITUTE EX IIMS,ISB N ETC DOES HOLD MORE VALUE THAN N NORMAL MBA COLLEGE.N IF THE DEGREE IS HAVIN MORE VALUE WE GET GOOD PLACEMENTS AND WE CAN BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE.

Most of us have a wrong notion that doing an MBA degree has all the benefit and power to land a plum job in the corporate. If you think so then you need to change the whole perspective about this. There are a large number of MBA degree holders who are jobless or working in a BPO. Always go for the top 20 institute in the country as its tag can help you get a plum offer. If you want to go for an institute that is below the top 20 rank holders then at least do well in academics and try to be in the top slot as it will pave your way for a lucrative job and a good career. If you are an average performer the chances are that you will not be able to get a good offer. If you are a poor performer then the chances are grim that you will get a job from these institutes and have to search on your own.
